Upon arrival, after collecting your luggage, you will be transferred to the Saint Georges Hotel located in Saint Claude in Basse-Terre. The early evening is free for you to rest and relax at the hotel, enjoy the pool before a welcome dinner is served.

Morning: Hike on the Grande Pointe Trail – Trois Rivières.

A nostalgic 2.5 km walk along the seaside and the edge of the forest, crossing one of the three rivers, fairly easy. Coastal battery, powder magazine, windmill made of stone, and ruins of an old distillery, Amerindian engraved rocks, and a sea view. Level 1 duration: 2 hours 35 minutes round trip, 12 hours. Lunch at Le Diamant Créole restaurant in Trois Rivières.

Afternoon: Discovery of the Bassin Bleu in Gourbeyre.

A short hike on a marked path in the heights of the volcanic plateau of the palmistes which dominates the town of Gourbeyre at over 600 meters above sea level. After a flat walk of just over 20 minutes through the humid tropical forest, you arrive at a clearing that reveals the first blue pool. It is named for the color of the water, which is given by the nature of the rocks surrounding the pool.

Return to the hotel at 5 PM.

A full-day visit starting from the port of Trois Rivières, traveling by ferry via the island of Terre de Haut to discover an authentic, preserved island divided between two villages: Grand Anse and Petite Anse.

Exploring the landscape by minibus, you will meet the island’s artisans who develop unique skills in Guadeloupe, which they are eager to share with you. Visit a workshop for the distillation of essential oils from Bois Dinde, a shrub with a thousand virtues. Visit a workshop for the making of traditional hats.

Lunch and swimming at Petite Anse beach.

Return to the port at 3:30 PM, back at the hotel by 5:15 PM.

Morning: Biodiversity hike which can be completed in two stages:

1st stage: The “Trace du pas du Roy” trail, passing through the Yellow Baths, a trail winding through the tropical forest with significant elevation changes, arriving at the Savane à Mulets plateau. Magnificent panorama with the possibility to walk up to the Col de l’échelle, a level 3 hike.

2nd stage: The “Chemin des Dames” trail, which allows climbing the dome of the volcano. This trail is reserved for experienced hikers around the massif of La Soufrière, guided by a certified mountain guide. Historical aspects, biodiversity, and commentary on tropical fauna and flora, a level 4 hike.

Lunch at Le Diamant Créole restaurant in Trois Rivières.

Afternoon: Art and floral design.

Guided visit of a floral estate, floral creation workshop led by a horticulturist and a floral designer, designed for groups of 10 to 25 people.

Breakfast at the hotel starting at 8:30 AM, departure by bus at 9:30 AM.

Bus ride to Capesterre Belle Eau, arrival at Îlet Pérou in Germaine’s Maniocrie, a small factory restaurant specializing in Cassave prepared in all its variations, presentation of the manufacturing process and tastings of delicious savory and sweet cassaves.

Departure for Basse Terre, passing by Vieux Fort, stop at a viewpoint with historical commentary.

Visite commentée de Basse terre, ville d’art et d’histoire, vue des monuments et sites historiques et du Massif de la Soufrière. Déjeuner dans un restaurant traditionnel.

Departure for Baillif, passing by the Tour du Père Labat then visiting the Bonfierie Man Lisa, a farm producing coffee, vegetables, and local fruits.

Return to the hotel at 6 PM.

Morning: Departure from the accommodation in Basse-Terre after breakfast, transfer to the accommodation in Grande-Terre at Le Gosier, with a travel time of 1 hour 30 minutes. Check-in at La Créole Beach Hotel.

Lunch on site.

Afternoon: Kayak outing in the mangrove and the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin starting from the nautical base in Vieux Bourg Abymes at 2:30 PM, an activity for groups of 10 to 20 people.

Morning: Hike the “Anse à la Gourde-Pointe des Châteaux” Trail.

This coastal hike starts from the same point and follows a well-marked trail eastward towards Pointe des Châteaux. It takes about 2 hours to reach La Croix, so a total of 4 hours for the round trip. The route passes beautiful beaches (Anse à la Gourde, Les Salines) that are perfect for swimming. The hike offers a blend of history, landscapes, and botany. Level 1.

Lunch: A picnic consisting of local dishes.

Afternoon: Cultural visit to Pointe-à-Pitre.

Evening: Food tour, a gastronomic dinner at a restaurant in Baie Mahault, offered by a chef with a choice of modern or traditional cuisine, including tasting of white and aged rums even with dessert. Transport by minibus or bus depending on the number of participants.

Breakfast at the hotel starting at 6:45 AM, departure by bus at 7:15 AM.

Boarding at the maritime station of Pointe-à-Pitre at 7:50 AM. Departure at 8:15 AM for a boat trip to the port of Grand Bourg on Marie-Galante Island.

Guided tour of the Murat Estate, followed by a departure to the Bielle Distillery for a guided tour of the distillery, a presentation of the specifics of this internationally renowned Marie-Galante rum, including a visit to the aging cellar and a tasting of white, amber, and aged rums.

Departure for lunch at the restaurant “Au plaisir des marins” located in Saint Louis, with swimming and lunch.

Return to the port of Grand Bourg for boarding at 3:40 PM and the return trip to Pointe-à-Pitre.

Return to the hotel at 6:00 PM.

Daylong catamaran outing sailing through the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin (the maritime space north between Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre, see the map of Guadeloupe on page 1 of the travel document), with a daily excursion departing from the port of Baie Mahault in the morning.

Lunch on board.

Visit and dive at a shipwreck.

Return to the port of Baie Mahault at 5:00 PM.

Dinner at the hotel.

Morning:
After breakfast, we will have some free time for last-minute shopping or to relax before leaving the hotel (please ensure that all extra charges are settled before departure) and being transferred to the airport in time for our overnight flight.

Transportation by bus to the airport.
