In Tunisia, you can see the Sahara desert, but also beautiful oases and the sea.

Matamata is a small village in the east of Douz, set among deserts and hills.
This village is famous for being one of the filming locations for Star Wars, and also for its caves. Inhabitants settle in cave houses in the hills, which give the village a mysterious and exotic appearance.

Douz is a town in southern Tunisia, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara”.
Until recently, it was an important stopover for caravans on their journeys between the Sahara and northern Tunisia. Now it’s a popular destination for many tourists.

The Chott El Jerid is the world’s largest salt plain, covering some 5,000 km². It lies between the Cherb mountain range to the north and the desert to the south, and is linked to the Chott Fejaj to the east.

This immense plain amazes tourists with its magnificent scenery.

The site of Ong Jemel takes its name from a rock formation in the shape of a camel’s neck, and is known as one of the filming locations for Star Wars.

Tozeur is a Tunisian town on the edge of the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert. It’s home to a splendid 2,000-hectare palm grove, an excellent place to stroll and take photos.

  • Departure for the oases of the Chebika and Midès mountains
  • Lunch. Back to Tozeur. Afternoon free

Tamerza is a mountain oasis in west-central Tunisia, the largest mountain oasis in the country, and the setting for the film The English Patient.

Midès, too, is a mountain oasis in the region, which has become famous for its beautiful valleys, and in the gorge was the setting for the filming of the “Star Wars module race”.

Le Lézard rouge est un train touristique tunisien qui traverse les gorges de la Selja. Built at the Rouvain workshops in 1910, the train was originally reserved for transporting the bey of Tunis and his court.

Gafsa is a town in south-west Tunisia, its beautiful valleys and mountains attract crowds of visitors every year.

The Great Mosque of Kairouan is one of Tunisia’s leading mosques. Built in the 7th century, it is the oldest place of worship in the Muslim West. Thanks to its monumental architecture and its religious and historical prestige, the Great Mosque of Kairouan still occupies a special place in the urban landscape and in the imagination of Muslims.

Hammamet is a seaside town in Tunisia. This town is famous for its white strike. Hammamet’s medina is well preserved, and the town’s history and culture are well presented here.

Tunis is the largest city and capital of Tunisia. Its historic heart is the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Medina consists of hundreds of monuments, all well-preserved: palaces, mosques and so on.

.La Goulette is a cosmopolitan town in Tunisia, home to the main port of Tunis. It was the location for the filming of Un Eté à la Goulette and Le nombril du monde.

Sidi Bou Said is a Tunisian village situated on a cliff. The village is known for its unique houses, with white walls and blue doors. Tourists consider it the most romantic village in North Africa.
